David Lucchetti was graduated with a Master degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, and earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix, USA.

网:随着工业物联网的发展,需要解决的核心问题是什么?

www.vsharing.com: With the development of the Industrial Internet of Things IoT, what are the core issues that need to be addressed?

David Lucchetti:关于需要解决的核心问题,我们认为最主要可以从三个方面来分析。第一个核心问题是工业物联网推广发展过程中的标准问题,从工业4.0概念的产生,工业物联网始终处在一个发展进程当中,物联网的实现并非简单的技术问题,需要涉及整个物联网的生态系统,不同环节相关领域的合作协调,以及信息安全,甚至用户数据隐私保护等各种问题。因此,只有建立相对统一的标准,工业物联的各个环节在同一标准内才能更有效的沟通发展,其中环节有包括设备物联、数据物联、信息分析、信息处理反馈等等。第二个核心问题,是建立这样的一个标准之后我们如何进行具体实现。它也需要有一些具体相关的操作,包含比如各个环节的技术投资、基础建设投资等等方面。第三个核心问题就是关于工业物联网技术的更深层次的认知程度,技术的积累与分享,比如今天大家参与的ECV上海希为主办的第二届中国人机交互国际峰会也是重要的分享活动之一。在工业物联相关领域内,各环节行业都有了更深刻更广泛技术储备和技术探讨,并加以具体实现, IIOT也会有更加长远的发展。

 

David Lucchetti: Regarding the core issues that need to be addressed, we believe they can be mainly analyzed in three aspects. The first core issue is the standard problem in the development of industrial IoT. Since the creation of concept of Industry 4.0, the Industrial Internet of Things has been evolving all the time. The realization of the Internet of Things is not a simple technical issue, but involves the entire ecosystem of the Internet of Things including the cooperation and coordination of different aspects, information security, and even user data privacy protection. Therefore, only by establishing relatively unified standards can all aspects of the Industrial IoT communicate more effectively. Such procedures include equipment IoT, data IoT, information analysis, and information processing and feedback. The second core issue is how we implement it after establishing such a standard. It also needs to implement some specific measures, including technical investment and infrastructure investment of all procedures. The third core issue is about the greater awareness of industrial IoT technology, the accumulation and sharing of technologies. For example, ECV Shanghai Xi’s Second China Human-Computer Interaction International Summit we participate in today is one of the important sharing events. In the relevant fields of IoT, if they conduct more in-depth and extensive technology discussions and sharing, IOT will have greater development in the long-term.

网:作为一个沉浸在工业自动化领域多年的全球领导者,意法半导体如何强调HMI在工业自动化中的重要性?

www.vsharing.com: As a global leader which has been immersed in industrial automation for many years, how does STMicroelectronics emphasize the importance of HMI in industrial automation?

David LucchettiHMI在工业自动化中具有不可替代的作用,是工业化进程的发展趋势,会让工业生产更加智能,更加高效,工业环境更加安全,随着生态系统的发展完善,结合硬件和软件技术的进步,HMI必将有更加广泛的应用实现场景,例如:预测性故障提前维护,远程监控维护,工业系统自动优化,产品包装,物流运输检测等各个领域,有研究表明,工业设备的预测性维护,不仅可以提前对设备的故障隐患,进行预警报告,处理,有效的延长工业设备的寿命。

David Lucchetti: HMI plays an irreplaceable role in the industrial automation. It is the trend of industrialization development, and will make industrial production more intelligent and more efficient, and industrial environment more secure. Along with the development of the ecosystem, combined with the progress of hardware and software technologies, HMI will have a wider range of applications such as: predictive failure maintenance, remote monitoring and maintenance, industrial system automation optimization, product packaging, logistics and transportation testing, etc. Researches show that predictive maintenance of industrial equipment can not only report the hidden problems of the equipment in advance and effectively extend the service life of the industrial equipment.

从解决方案的角度来讲,首先我们将工业设备系统,进行基础物联,然后会进行相关的数据技术分析处理,再反馈到相对应的具体处理器,系统就会自动实施一些维护等相关措施,进行处理,从而达到有效的人机交互智能物联的应用效果。HMI 在工业自动化领域的发展非常重要,从意法半导体产品的策略来讲,我们凭借领先的创新技术,丰富的产品线和先进的制造工艺,积极全面应对相应HMI挑战,例如领先的高集成度和高技术附加的SoC SiP工艺应用于Galvanic Isolation磁隔离的驱动芯片,STSpin 系列的马达驱动芯片,I-O Link连接处理,功率器件,电源管理,等芯片解决方案,都可以广泛地应用于工业领域,提升智能工业产品的可靠性,稳定性,智能化,集成度。

From the solution perspective, first of all, we will carry out the basic IoT connection for the industrial equipment system, and then carry out relevant data analysis and processing, and then feedback it to the corresponding processor, and the system will automatically implement some maintenance measures, so as to achieve effective human-computer interaction and intelligent IoT. HMI's development in the field of industrial automation is very important. In terms of the product strategy of STMicroelectronics, we actively and thoroughly address the corresponding HMI challenges with leading innovative technologies, rich variety of product lines and advanced manufacturing processes. For instance, we apply leading highly integrated and technology advanced SoC and SiP processes to Galvanic Isolation magnetically isolated driver chips, and provide extensively the industrial sector with STSpin series of motor driver chips, I-O Link connection processing, power devices, power management, and other chip solutions to improve the reliability, stability, intelligence and integration level of intelligent industrial products.

www.robot-china.com: How are ST's smart industrial solutions applied to industrial intelligence and automation? Is there any challenge?

David Lucchetti:因为工业智能和自动化行业是持续发展的过程,智能工业4.0的实现并非简单的技术问题,挑战涉及整个行业的生态系统,存在于不同环节相关领域的合作协调,以及信息安全,甚至用户数据隐私保护等各种挑战。因此行业规范的制订,推进以及完善显得尤为重要。

David Lucchetti: As the industrial intelligence and automation industry is undergoing continuous development, it is not just a simple technical issue to achieve the Industry 4.0. Therefore, the challenge involves the entire industry ecosystem, including the cooperation and coordination between different procedures, information security, and the even protection of user data privacy. Therefore, the formulation, promotion and improvement of the industry standards are of great importance.

David Lucchetti: As an integrator of semiconductors, STMicroelectronics has a large customer base not only in China, but also in all the other parts of the world, within the industrial sector in particular. We have local staff from the technical department, business department and marketing department to provide localized services, and products and solution support to Chinese customers. By taking advantage of the leading innovative technologies, rich variety of product lines and advanced manufacturing processes, we actively serve Chinese companies in a comprehensive manner. As mentioned just now, we have applied leading highly integrated and technology advanced SoC and SiP processes to Galvanic Isolation magnetically isolated driver chips, provide enterprises with solutions including STSpin series of motor driver chips, IO Link connection processing, power devices, power management, and other chip solutions.

网:现在中国市场人口红利降低,工业在逐渐向智能制造、自动化方向转换,想问下您对中国市场趋势有什么看法?

www.vsharing.com: Now the demographic dividend in the Chinese market is decreasing, and the industrial sector is gradually shifting to smart manufacturing and automation. What are your views on the trend of the Chinese market?

David Lucchetti:关于中国市场趋势,虽然人口红利降低,但是人们有更高生活品质的追求与个性化需求,新的需求必然产生新的市场经济活动。小的经济活动可以包含检测管理人体健康的智能设备的需求,智能家居, 智能车联生活需求等等。大的经济活动则包含基于大数据基础的有效分析应用的智能工业,智能物联,智慧城市发展等等。

David LucchettiRegarding the development trend of the Chinese market, although the demographic dividend is reduced, the Chinese people will have higher demand on life quality and individualized needs, and new demands will inevitably lead to new economic activities. Small economic activities can include the demand for smart devices that detect and manage human health, smart home appliances, smart cars and so on. Large economic activities include effective big data-based analysis applications of the intelligent industry, intelligent IoT, smart city development and so on. 

放眼于长远发展,从消费类智能生活到工业智能制造,我们认为中国市场仍然是全球最活跃的市场之一。

From the long-term perspective, we believe that the Chinese market is still one of the most dynamic markets in the world from smart lives of consumers to industrial intelligent manufacturing,
